About

An independent company, strict about its numbers.

Opah is a music intelligence tool for independent artists and the people who manage them. This page says where it came from, how it is run, and the standards everything it publishes is held to.

Where it came from

Opah was built by a working artist manager who got tired of guessing. Major labels keep people whose whole job is knowing what everyone else is running: which ads survived, what got posted around a release, which cities got bought. Independent artists never had that function, so most decisions were made on instinct and whatever the feed happened to show.

Opah is that function as a product. It has been live at opah.studio since May 2026, and the first roster it ever tracked was the one it was built for.

What it does

You name the artists you want to follow, your own and the ones ahead of you. Opah tracks each of them across the Meta Ad Library, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Spotify, and reads the sources together rather than as five separate dashboards: the hidden Spotify numbers, the 0 to 100 popularity score included, as a daily series, next to every ad each artist has run, reaching back to 2020, with the creative, the dates and the destinations kept.

It does not connect to anyone’s accounts and asks nothing of the artists you track. You type a name, Opah goes and reads, and then it tells you where you diverge from the artists you named and what to do about it next.

The standards

A data product is only worth what its numbers can survive, so the rules Opah is built under are stated here, in public, where they can be held against it.

  • Measured, not asserted

The refresh rates printed on the FAQ are medians measured from production reads over three weeks, re-measured before every edit. Not settings quoted from a config file.

  • Competitor prices carry their read date

Every figure on the comparison page is read from the seller's own pricing page with both sides of the billing toggle clicked, and the page prints the day it was read.

  • Against AI in music

Opah is against the use of AI in musical works, and pushes against it wherever it has the leverage to. The product holds the same line: no AI chatbot bolted on to make up for what the product should do itself, and support answered by a person.

Independent, and saying so

Opah is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Spotify, Meta, TikTok, YouTube or Instagram; platform names belong to their owners. It is self-built and self-run, it shows no ads and sells no data, and it charges for exactly one thing: the collection, the cross-referencing and the reading. The plans are on the pricing page, which is the one place Opah states money.

Reach a person

support@opah.studio goes to a human and gets answered. Opah also posts reads from the data at @get.opah on Instagram. For product and account questions, the FAQ answers plainly, including the questions whose answer is no.
