Use cases

Opah for artist managers: every artist on the roster, and the artists they compete with, read daily

An artist manager uses Opah as one axis for the whole roster: every artist you manage and the artists each one competes with, read on the same schedule with nothing to connect. The dashboard ranks the movers each morning; each artist has a page and a Playbook; every Meta ad any of them runs is kept and dated beside the Spotify series.

$0.99 a month for your first 3 months on Opah Core, then $19. Cancel any time. Chartmetric is $60 a month for 10 artists; Opah is $19 for 3 or $39 for 10.

An independent with about 27K monthly listeners: the popularity score
A headliner with 24.6M monthly listeners: the world rank
Two artists from one niche, June to early September, anonymised: the score moved 24 to 28 and back, the rank 270 to 332. Same days, same axis, nothing connected by either artist.

Measured , artists anonymised.

Two ends of the roster, same days, same axis

A roster is uneven, and Opah reads whatever each artist has. The independent with no Spotify rank has a popularity score that moved across a release; the headliner has a rank that moved 270 to 332. Both sit on one axis over the same days, and the ratios that hold across sizes, fan conversion, plays per listener, audience against output, make the two comparable where raw counts cannot.

Put each artist’s competitors in their Playbook and the roster reads as a set of markets, each with its own openings and its own creative recipes.

The release cycle, for the roster and for the niche

The same instrument for an artist you manage and for the artists they study.

Ads above the line, posts below it, 21 days either side of release day. For the artists Opah tracks, both peak on the day and the ads keep starting into the second week. A manager reads the niche’s curve before setting an artist’s start day, then reads the artist’s own curve after the release to see how it compared.

113 releases with ads and 145 with posts, 21 days either side, every artist Opah tracks with a dated release, aggregated and anonymous. Both peak on release day; the median ad starts 2 days after it, the median post lands on it, and the ads keep starting through day +13.

The plan that fits

Three plans, priced by how many artists you track. Every plan reads every platform.

Opah Pro
$39a month
10 artists, every platform, cancel any time
  • Opah Core: $19 a month for 3 artists
  • Opah Suite: $89 a month for 30 artists

Ten slots: three or four artists you manage and the two competitors each one studies, in a Playbook per artist. Every slot reads every platform; a slot can be swapped when the roster changes.

A larger roster, or a label, takes the thirty-artist plan.

The pages behind this one

Each read a manager makes has its own page: comparing artists, the Playbook, the release rollout as the market runs it, and what the artists in a niche run on Meta.

Questions

More on the FAQ.

How does a manager set Opah up for a roster?
Add each artist you manage by name, then the two or three artists each one competes with, and build a Playbook per artist from that set. Nothing is connected, no artist is asked for a login, and the first numbers arrive the same day. Plans start at $19 a month for 3 artists; the ten-artist plan fits most rosters.
What does the Monday read look like?
The dashboard ranks every artist you track by the change in their Spotify numbers, so the movers are first. Each artist's page prints the day of its last read per platform. The Playbooks carry the week's Next Moves.
Can I compare artists of different sizes on the roster?
Yes, on one axis and with ratios that hold across sizes: fan conversion, plays per listener, audience against output. The page shows a 27,000-listener independent and a 24.6M-listener headliner over the same days.
Does Opah replace Spotify for Artists access to each artist?
No, it reads what Spotify shows for any artist, so saves and streams by source stay in each artist's own dashboard. What it adds is the same read for every artist on the roster and for the artists they compete with, with nothing to connect.
What does a release look like across the roster?
Each artist's ads and posts set against release day on the release cycle, the same instrument for the artists they study, so the start day is read from what the niche did rather than guessed.
