Opah for independent artists: your numbers next to any artist you add, every day

An independent artist uses Opah with three slots: your own artist and two you want to learn from. From the day you add them, your Spotify score, listeners, followers and cities sit beside theirs as a daily series, every Meta ad their pages run is kept and dated, and a Niche Playbook reads the three of you as one market and names the next moves.

$0.99 a month for your first 3 months on Opah Core, then $19. Cancel any time. Chartmetric is $60 a month for 10 artists; Opah is $19 for 3 or $39 for 10.

A release, read as a shape

This independent artist, about 27,000 monthly listeners, went from 24 to 28 on the popularity score across a release and settled a point below the peak. Opah reads the score, listeners and followers every 24 hours, so a release shows as a shape rather than a before and after, and fan conversion (followers divided by listeners) says whether the release bought reach or fans.

The same chart for the artists you study, over the same days, is the benchmark: when their score climbs you can open the ad or the post that started the week before.

What the Playbook says first

Three moves, each with its number, for one real niche.

The Playbook leads with the three findings the data supports, as decisions: where every artist in the niche is heard and you are not, which creative the niche kept paying for, which button it reaches for. Below, the three moves for one five-artist niche.

  1. 5 of 5share SydneyPoint the first test budget at Sydney and Melbourne. Every artist in this niche has measurable listeners in Sydney; only 1 of 5 does in Los Angeles.
  2. 45 of 2,256of this niche's ads ran 90 days or moreStart from the 45 ads that ran 90 days or more. They are the only creative this niche has kept paying for.
  3. 702 vs 379travel vs listensTest a show ad before a streaming ad. Book travel is this niche's commonest call to action, on 702 ads against 379 for Listen now.
The three moves the Playbook led with for one five-artist niche, artists anonymised. A move names a market or an artist, a number and a consequence, or it is not shown.

The plan that fits

Three plans, priced by how many artists you track. Every plan reads every platform.

Opah Core
$19a month
3 artists, every platform, cancel any time
  • Opah Pro: $39 a month for 10 artists
  • Opah Suite: $89 a month for 30 artists

Three slots: you and the two artists whose fans you want. Every slot reads Spotify daily, every Meta ad the page has run since 2020, and Instagram, TikTok and YouTube every 72 hours. A Playbook holds all three.

A manager with several artists, or an artist who studies a wider niche, takes the ten-artist plan.

The pages behind this one

Everything an artist reads here has its own page: what Opah reads on each platform, the Playbook, the popularity score, and what the artists in a niche run on Meta before you spend.

Questions

More on the FAQ.

I only have my own artist. Is Opah for me?
Yes, with two more slots for the artists you want to learn from. Your own numbers mean little alone; beside two artists ahead of you they become a benchmark, and their ads and posts become the playbook. Opah Core is $19 a month for 3 artists: you and two you study.
Do I need Spotify for Artists or a Meta Ads account connected?
No. You add artists by name, yourself included. Opah reads what each platform shows for any artist and connects to nothing.
What do I check each week?
The popularity score and monthly listeners as a series, the Next Moves on your Playbook, and the ads the artists you study started that week. Three reads, a few minutes.
Can Opah tell me what to post or which ad to run?
It tells you what the artists in your niche run, for how long, and what they keep running: the format, the first line, the button, where the click goes, when they start around a release. The decision is yours; the Next Moves card names the three the data supports.
What does a release look like in Opah?
A link page you make for it, your ads and posts set against release day on the release cycle, and the popularity and listener series across the window, next to the same curves for the artists you study.
